The holiday home has a living space of 90 m² and many amenities to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
You can feel at home in the large, open-plan living room with integrated kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils you need to prepare delicious meals. There is a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, cooker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and much more. The large satellite TV in the living area allows you to watch all kinds of programmes. But rest assured, you will hardly ever use it. A large sliding door leads from the living room directly onto the first terrace.
There are two bedrooms in the property. In the large bedroom you will find a cosy 1.80 x 2.00 m bed with two high-quality mattresses in different firmness levels (soft/medium-hard). The smaller bedroom is furnished with a comfortable 1.40 x 2.00 m box-spring bed.
The bathroom is modern and furnished to a high standard. The stylish washbasin has a permanently installed hairdryer and a floor-level walk-in shower makes using it a real experience. A WC is of course included. A first-aid kit is available in a wall cupboard so that minor injuries can be treated immediately.
The reading room provides plenty of peace and relaxation on dull rainy days. Here you will find a careful selection of literature to help you escape from everyday life. From the reading room, you can access the second, covered terrace via a large door.
There is also a utility room in the property. You can use the permanently installed cloakroom with coat hangers. You will also find a washing machine, tumble dryer, clothes horse, ironing board and iron.
The two terraces, one covered and sheltered from the wind, the other open, are perfect for enjoying the surrounding nature. Sunbathing or summer rain, the rustling of the trees, the babbling brook, birdsong and and and.... The terraces have a seating area, tables, chairs and sun loungers.
From the terrace you can enjoy the generous natural surroundings. On hot days, you can walk barefoot through the stream to cool off. Or simply take a few steps away from the property and you are already on the next forest path, ready to set off on a discovery hike through the Thuringian Forest. There is a badminton set in the cupboard in the hallway, which you can use on the neighbouring meadow.

The holiday home Rehblick is located in an idyllic ensemble with three other houses on the edge of the forest. There are no other direct neighbours. Surrounded by trees and a stream, you are surrounded by nature. A large, spacious meadow adjoins the property. You can immediately set off on a hike into the marvellous nature of the Thuringian Forest.
The accommodation is located just outside Friedrichroda in the district of Reinhardsbrunn with its brilliant and historic castle, which is also known as the cradle of Thuringia. The restoration of the castle is in full swing following expropriation proceedings and its transfer to the Thuringian Palaces and Gardens Foundation.
In the immediate vicinity there is a fish restaurant and a bratwurst snack bar with original Thuringian grilled sausages. In Friedrichroda itself you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay. Worth mentioning is the nearby hospital for immediate medical care.
The famous Marienglashöhle cave is within walking distance (https://www.marienglashoehle-friedrichroda.de).
The neighbouring town of Bad Tabarz is home to the ‘Tabbs’ wellness spa and, since 2022, Germany's most beautiful hiking trail, awarded by the ‘Wandermagazin’ hiking magazine. In Bad Tabarz, you can also learn a lot about the writer Heinrich Hoffmann and Struwwelpeter.

The Reinhardsbrunn district has its own stop on the Thuringian Forest Railway. With the Thüringer Waldbahn you have a connection to the DB trains via Gotha main station or the Südthüringenbahn in Waltershausen. From the accommodation you can walk about 15 minutes to the railway station.
The A4 motorway is easily accessible via the Waltershausen junction.
